New Features in Version 10.4

- MinFraud Query Caching - new v10.4 feature. Save money on unnecessary minFraud queries. Customers can shop around your website adding and removing items from the basket, checking shipping cost, etc. without triggering additional minFraud queries. Query data sent to MaxMind is cached and unless the customer changes address or contact info the previous query responses will be re-used. Cached queries can be set to expire after 0 to 60 minutes.
- IPv6 compatibility - a top asked-for feature. Allows analysis of IPv6 incoming connections and IPv6 whitelisting.

- New minFraud service levels - MaxMind updated its minFraud system to provide three levels of transaction detail: risk score only, insights and factors. The WP Antifraud module is compatible with this update and allows you to switch as desired between these service levels.

- Component/Item module version - we've included a second version of the module that installs as a component/item that you can add to any page where the customer information is known. Use with one-page checkouts and heavily modified stores where the system extension module fires too often or not at all.

Integrates MaxMind's (the makers of the GeoIP® location database) minFraud fraud screening and detection system with Miva Merchant. The minFraud service examines over 30 data points and applies extensive fraud screening checks including geolocation, proxy detection, and reputation data. By leveraging non-personally identifiable data from thousands of merchants and comprehensive analysis, MaxMind's minFraud system is able to identify traits and patterns associated with fraudulent orders.

This module will help stop credit card testing and fraudulent orders. For as little as 1/2 cent per query it can save you money on authorization fees, improve your merchant decline ratio, refund ratio and chargebacks - and may qualify you for lower credit card fees. The module sends merchants a fraud analysis email for each order or for only those exceed that exceed a preset risk score. If desired, the module can also decline orders that exceed a preset risk score before reaching the payment gateway.
